Summer Blues

Well, summer break is officially over and we are so sad. We really enjoyed spending each and every day together. We had a wonderful vacation, a few mini-trips, VBS, pool time, and time to spend with family and friends.

Madelyn is now 10 months old and I am so thankful that I have seen so many of her "firsts" this summer. She is pulling up and standing on her own now. She can use her walker and prefers "table" food over baby food any time. She has two teeth on top and two on the bottom. It's sooo cute. She can say "dada", "mama", and buba". She still sings herself to sleep and loves to play hard to get with anyone except Mommy. She is definately my girl. We are both having a little seperation anxiety; although, I know it will get better with time.

Dawson Taylor starts his first day of Pre-K Thursday. I am so nervous for him but he is as happy and ready as can be. He told me that he can't wait to meet his new friends. How sweet is he? I'm sure I will have a harder time leaving him Thursday morning than he will. My baby boy is growing up too fast.

Darryl and I are so blessed and thankful for all the love we feel each day.

Vacation

We went to Hot Springs, AR for a few days. My parents came with us. First, we went to Magic Springs. Dawson Taylor is 42" so he did not get to ride everything that he wanted to; however, he still had a great time. He is so much braver than I ever was (still am HA). We did some shopping, swimming, and sight seeing. Dawson Taylor and Madelyn did very good. We had a really great time!

Darryl and I celebrate our 5 year Anniversary, Friday, June 4, 2010. These have been the most amazing and memorable five years of my life. I truly enjoy spending each day with the love of my life. He makes all my dreams come true. I love you, Darryl.

Madelyn Is Crawling

Our baby girl started really crawling good last week and I took this video. She is really moving now so I need to update it already. Dawson Taylor, Madelyn, and Daddy just keep Mommy very busy. We are so proud of this milestone; however, I don't want her to grow up too fast.
She also pulled herself up from the floor on the ottoman today.

Soccer Star

Today was Dawson Taylor's last three year old soccer practice. Our little man is growing up so fast. He has been so much fun to watch this season and has improved alot. I am so proud to be a

"soccer mom".

Aunt Alice came to visit this weekend and took Dawson Taylor to the movies to watch How to Train a Dragon. He really liked the movie. Everyone had a great time! Thanks for showing our babies how much you love them. We love you, Aunt Alice.

Madelyn's First Easter

Rejoice...He's alive! Easter was really a blessing. We spent time with friends and family and enjoyed watching our babies have fun! Dawson Taylor can even tell you the meaning of Easter.
